Hamburg Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. lean hamburg
    2 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 large onion, diced
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 box rice pilaf
    2 cans stewed tomatoes, diced
    2 pkg. beef bouillon
Preparation
    Fill a 6-quart cooking pot 1/2 full of cold water.
    Crumble 1/4 pound of lean hamburg into the water.
    Bring to a boil and add all of the other ingredients listed.
    Reduce to simmer and cook, covered, for 2 hours.
    Add salt, pepper and whatever else you want while soup is cooking.
