Italian Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground chuck
    1 large onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil
    4 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 to 8 crushed crackers
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except crackers.
    Add cracker crumbs to absorb moisture so that meat can be formed into balls.
    Brown meat balls in hot oil about 5 to 7 minutes.
    Put meat balls into sauce and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
