"Blondies" By Twana Mccleary - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. toasted, chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease an 8-inch square baking pan. Beat in a bowl at medium speed the butter and sugar for 2 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla.
In a small bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt; stir into butter mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
Spread in pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack before cutting.
Makes 12 brownies.
