Dirty Rice With Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. raw shrimp, peeled
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 c. uncooked rice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat cooking oil; stir in flour until golden brown.
    Add onion, garlic and shrimp.
    Cook slowly for 20 minutes.
    Add 2 1/2 cups water and 1 cup raw rice.
    Cook on medium heat until water is almost gone.
    Cover and simmer on lowest heat for 20 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
