Ingredients

1 qt. huckleberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
Preparation

Bring
to
a
boil
the huckleberries, sugar and water. Mix dumplings
made
of
rest of the ingredients.
Spoon into warm fruit.
Cover and cook on slow heat for 5 minutes.\tLeave covered; set off heat.
Serve warm, with cream or ice cream.
