Butter Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening.
    Add sugar, salt, milk and vanilla gradually beating until smooth and stiff enough to spread or use in pastry tube.
