Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1 1/4 c. white flour
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift
    together\tall
    the dry ingredients.
    Beat the egg with the
    milk
    and
    add it to the flour along with the melted butter. Stir
    well.
    Spread
    the
    batter in a buttered 9-inch pan and bake in a 375\u00b0 preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until it is lightly browned.
