Marshmallow Rocky Road Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. broken walnuts
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. tiny marshmallows
Preparation
    Sprinkle walnuts evenly over the bottom of a buttered 9-inch square pan.
    Set aside. Butter the sides of a heavy 2-quart saucepan.
    In it
    combine sugar, milk and salt.
    Heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Bring to a rolling boil; boil 2 minutes (222\u00b0), stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
    Remove from heat; immediately stir in chocolate and vanilla. Beat until chocolate is melted and blended.
    Cover walnuts with half of the fudge mixture. Top with marshmallows, pressing them gently into the fudge; spread with remaining fudge.
