Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) cans asparagus
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 jar Kraft Old English cheese
    1 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. flour for cream sauce
    1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Brown crumbs in 1/2 stick butter.
    Melt remaining half of butter in small pan over low heat.
    Stir in flour to make a smooth mixture.
    Gradually add about 1/2 cup milk.
    Add other ingredients; cook slowly, stirring constantly until thickened.
