My Sis' Favorite Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. pitted dates
8 oz. maraschino cherries
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix dates, nuts and cherries with flour and sugar.
Beat eggs until creamy, add vanilla.
Stir into mixture.
Turn into
9 x 4 greased waxed pan.
Bake 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
