Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. oil
    1/4 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking powder
    8 medium apples, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix apples, 6 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon and set aside. Mix 2 cups sugar, oil and eggs.
    Add vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with orange juice.
    Put half of batter in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Add half of apple mixture, then remaining batter and top with apples.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
