Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mace
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. white Karo
3 unbeaten eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. shortening or 1 c. shortening and 1 c. oleo
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Mix first seven ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add rest of ingredients.
Mix well.
(Chill if desired.)
Roll on floured board.
Cut.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
