Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Let 1 cup brown sugar, water and 2 tablespoons butter come to boil and set aside.
    Cream together 1 tablespoon butter and 1 cup brown sugar.
    Add milk, flour and baking powder.
    Mix well.
    Then add nuts and dates.
    Mix well.
    Pour 1/2 liquid that was set aside into baking pan.
    Drop above mixture by spoonful into liquid.
    Then add remainder of mixture.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
