American Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil or margarine
    1/2 lb. chopped meat, wash with cold water
    2 onions. sliced
    1 c. diced celery, wash with cold water
    1 c. rice
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. chicken bouillon
Preparation
    Prepare all ingredients and measure all ingredients.
    Heat the oil in a large skillet that has a lid over medium heat.
    Cook the meat and onions in the oil until slightly brown.
    Add the celery and green peppers.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Add the rice, salt, water and flavoring.
    Stir until the flavoring has dissolved.
    Cover with lid and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally until rice is tender or about 1/2 hour.
