Chicken Salad Oriental - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chicken, diced and cooked
    1/2 c. frozen peas, thawed
    1 c. pineapple tidbits, drained
    2 Tbsp. sliced green onions
    1 (5 oz.) can or 2/3 c. sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 c. celery
    1/3 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients.
    Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, ginger, salt and pepper.
    Add to chicken mixture.
    Serve on crisp greens.
    Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
    Serves 8.
