Pecan Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add sugar; beat well.
    Add flour and cornstarch; mix well.
    Cover bowl (not metal) and chill 1 hour.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in pecans.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Flatten each ball with bottom of glass (dipped in powdered sugar).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Remove immediately from sheet to cool.
