Boone Tavern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. cornmeal
    3 eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Stir
    meal
    into rapidly boiling milk.
    Cook until very thick, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
    Remove from heat and allow
    to
    cool.
    The
    mixture will be cold and very stiff.
    Add well beaten eggs, salt, baking powder and butter. Beat
    with mixer

    minutes.
    Pour
    into greased casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
