Helen'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. mashed bananas (very ripe)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add lemon juice and bananas. Sift together dry ingredients and pecans.
Mix well, but do not beat or overmix.
Place in three small loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
