Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. white sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, white sugar, flour, soda and salad oil. Remove 3/4 cup for topping to which add 1/2 cup nuts and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Set aside.
    To remainder, add 1 egg, vanilla, buttermilk, soda and baking powder.
    Mix well and pour into 2 round cake pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with topping.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
