Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

14 dates, chopped
14 saltine crackers, rolled fine
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped pecans
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix dates, crackers, baking powder and 1/2 cup sugar and nuts together.
Beat egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar.
Fold the dry ingredients into egg whites.
Add vanilla.
Pour into pie pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cool and serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
