Luna Mansion Mud Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

38 (14 oz.) cream filled chocolate cookies
1/2 c. butter (oleo), melted
1 1/2 qt. coffee ice cream
1 c. thick fudge sauce
sweetened whipping cream, whipped or Cool Whip
slivered almonds

Preparation

Crush cookies and mix with melted butter.
Press into bottom and sides of 9-inch spring-form pan.
Crust should be 1/4-inch thick.
Freeze until firm.
Soften ice cream and spoon into crust. Freeze until firm.
Top each serving of pie with sweetened whipped cream (or Cool Whip) and almonds.
