Harboldt Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. lard
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    flour
Preparation
    Soak yeast in lukewarm water.
    Mix Kellogg's All-Bran, sugar, salt and lard in a large bowl.
    Scald the milk and pour over ingredients; stir.
    Add yeast.
    Stir well.
    Add enough flour to mix stiff.
    Knead with hands until as stiff as any bread.
    Let rise double.
    Knead.
    Let rise 1 hour.
    Put in loaves.
    Let rise 1 hour. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
