Ed'S Whole Wheat Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pkg. yeast (RapidRise)
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. warm water
    1/3 c. shortening
    4 1/2 c. regular flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Add sugar, salt and about 3 cups white flour.
    Beat thoroughly 2 minutes.
    Add eggs and shortening. Gradually beat in remaining flour (white and wheat) until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and place in refrigerator.
    Punch down occasionally as dough rises in refrigerator.
    Shape into rolls and place on greased baking sheet.
    Cover and let rise until double, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
