Sweet Abundance Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. half and half or light cream
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, cut into pieces
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a 3-quart rectangular baking dish, layer 1/2 of the bread cubes, raisins, coconut and pecans. Repeat the layers; set aside.
    In a large bowl, stir together the beaten eggs, granulated sugar, half and half or light cream, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Pour the milk mixture evenly over the ingredients in the baking dish.
    Dot with the butter or margarine.
    Bake the pudding in the 350\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
    Serve warm.
