Rhubarb Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rhubarb
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. butter or lard
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Put flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Cut butter into dry ingredients.
    Stir in milk, mix well.
    Roll dough out to about 1/4-inch thickness, then spread it with butter, sugar and rhubarb, which has been chopped into 1/4-inch slices and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Roll dough up in jelly roll fashion, cut into slices 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick.
    Lay slices flat into a baking dish and pour Sweet Sauce over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
