Low Sodium Vegetable And Ham Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. unsalted margarine
    1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
    1 large potato, peeled and diced
    1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
    2 1/2 Tbsp. lower salt chicken instant bouillon
    2 1/2 c. lower salt ham, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
    2 tsp. Mrs. Dash
Preparation
    Melt margarine in Dutch oven over medium heat.
    Add onion. Saute until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and 5 cups water. Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
    Reduce heat to simmer. Cook, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until potato is tender. Garnish with carrot curls and fresh chives, if desired.
