Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. and 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1-20 oz. can sauerkraut
    1 1/2 c. diced celery
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    3 oz. pimentos
    salt
Preparation
    In a saucepan combine salt, vinegar, caraway seeds and sugar. Bring to boil over medium heat. Stir in sauerkraut, onion, celery, pepper & pimento. Remove from heat & let marinate overnight before serving. This stores well for later use.
