Quick Chili Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 can corn, drained
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1 can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion.
    Add spices, corn, green pepper, tomato sauce and water.
    Cover; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Stir in rice.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; serve.
    Goes well with side salad with Ranch dressing and hot corn bread.
