Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 C. margarine or butter
1/2 C. shortening
1 lb. light brown sugar
5 eggs
3 C. flour, plain
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 C. milk
1 Tsp vanilla
1 C. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat margarine and shortening together.
Add sugar, creaming until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla.
Stir in nuts. Pour into greased tube pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350.
