Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. pecans, chopped coarse
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix the jello and water until dissolved.
    Add the remaining ingredients, except the sour cream.
    Chill 1/2 of this mixture for 1 1/2 hours.
    Leave the other 1/2 out at room temperature.
    Spread refrigerated mixture with sour cream.
    Chill 15 minutes.
    Top with other 1/2 of mixture.
    Chill 2 hours.
