Green Mountain Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar, molasses and egg and mix thoroughly.
    Mix in sifted dry ingredients.
    Roll in small balls; dip in granulated sugar and place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake about 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes approximately 5 dozen.
