Texas Peanut Brittlelow Calorie Dishes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
    1 1/2 tsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Butter heavily 2 cookie sheets.
    Put into a saucepan the sugar, water and corn syrup. Bring to a boil. Boil until you hold up a spoon and it spins a thread.
    Add peanuts.
    Cook and stir until the peanuts turn a brownish gold.
    Remove from heat. Stir in margarine, salt and soda. Pour into cookie sheets to cool and harden. Break into pieces.
