Scalloped Cabbage With Cheese - cooking recipe

1 large head cabbage
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 c. Velveeta cheese, diced
Preparation

Cut cabbage up; cook until tender in boiling salt water. Drain.
Melt the butter in saucepan over low heat.
Blend in flour, salt and dash of pepper.
Add milk.
Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Add cheese; stir until cheese melts.
Place the cabbage in a greased baking dish.
Layer the cabbage and cheese sauce.
Cover with buttered bread cubes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until bread crumbs are browned.
