Mock Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    24 Ritz crackers
    6 Tbsp. brown sugar
    cinnamon to taste
    6 Tbsp. butter
    pie shell
Preparation
    Bring water, sugar and cream of tartar to a boil.
    Drop 24 crackers into syrup.
    Boil for 2 minutes.
    Pour in pie shell.
    Put brown sugar, butter and cinnamon on top of mixture.
    Put top pie crust on.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Let cool and serve. Tastes like apple pie.
