1 fryer, cut up
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. pancake flour
salt
Preparation

Heat shortening in electric skillet to 350\u00b0.
Have enough to come halfway up on chicken.
Roll chicken pieces in flour and pancake flour.
Place in hot shortening or oil.
Salt chicken. Cover and cook until brown.
Turn over and brown other side.
Take out; place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Serve hot.
Time for cooking is about 12 to 15 minutes.
