Vanilla Extract - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 whole vanilla bean
3 oz. vodka
1/3 tsp. sugar

Preparation

Break up vanilla bean and mix with vodka and sugar.
Age one month in a sealed bottle.
Shake often.
To use, strain off amount called for in recipe.
