Biscuit Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 c. flour
1/3 c. baking powder
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. instant nonfat dry milk
1 2/3 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients thoroughly in large container (6 to 8 quarts).
Cut in shortening with pastry blender or mixer until fine crumbs are obtained and shortening is evenly dispersed.
Store, tightly covered, in refrigerator.
Use within 3 months.
Makes about 15 cups of mix.
Use 3 cups of the mix with 2/3 cup water and mix as usual for biscuits.
