Homemade Country Style Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    5 c. milk (approximately)
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. whipping cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
    Slowly add sugar, beat until thickened.
    Add cream, vanilla and salt and mix well. Pour into can.
    Add milk to fill line on can and stir well.
    Churn in freezer per instructions.
    Makes approximately 4 quarts.
