Danish Tart - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
grated rind of 1 lemon
4 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
5 tart cooking apples, peeled and sliced in 1/8-inch lengthwise pieces
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 c. whipped cream
Preparation

In bowl, mix butter and sugar until thoroughly creamed.
Add 1 egg at a time; beat thoroughly.
Beat in lemon rind and 1 teaspoon juice.
Sift flour and salt; gradually add to batter and beat thoroughly.
Put into 9-inch spring-form pan.
Toss apple slices onto batter.
Add remaining lemon juice; drizzle melted butter over apples.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 5 minutes, until apples are browned and cake pulls away from the sides of the pan.
