Yogurt Poppy Seed Coffee Cake(Serves 12 To 15) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 oz.) pkg. poppy seed or 1 1/2 oz.
    1 c. plain yogurt
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking soda
    4 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Grease angel food cake pan and dust lightly with flour.
    Soak poppy seed in yogurt.
    Cream butter and add sugar.
    Blend into yogurt mixture.
    Beat egg yolks and add to mixture.
    Add vanilla, sifted flour and baking soda.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
    Pour batter into prepared pan.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with lemon glaze.
    Serve warm.
    This is great for meetings and coffees.
