Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/8 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 2/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. mashed, cooked pumpkin
1/2 recipe plain pastry
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together and stir into eggs.
Add milk and pumpkin.
Line pie pan with pastry and pour in filling.
Bake in very hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce temperature to slow 325\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
