Pear Honey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 lb. peeled and cored pears
5 lb. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple
fresh fruit (optional)
Preparation

Grind pears.
Mix pears, sugar and pineapple immediately to prevent pears from turning brown.
Bring to a boil and boil about 30 minutes or until syrup clears, stirring constantly.
Pour in hot jars and seal.
