Apple Cake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. peeled, chopped apples
walnuts
raisins

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs and beat.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Fold in apples, walnuts and raisins (batter is very stiff).
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. While still hot, spread with glaze.
Serve warm.
