Ingredients

1 c. butter
4 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. chopped nuts or coconut
Preparation

Over low heat, cook together butter and brown sugar.
Cool. Add eggs, vanilla, flour, baking powder, nuts or coconut.
Spread into 2 (10 x 15-inch) pans, lightly greased.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut while warm.
