Icebox Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. red cherries (halves)
    1 lb. green cherries (halves)
    1 lb. red pineapple, chopped
    1 1/2 lb. fruit flavored gumdrops
    1 box raisins
    1 (4 oz.) bag coconut
    1 pkg. pecans, chopped
    1 pkg. Brazil nuts, sliced
    3/4 box vanilla wafers, crushed
    2/3 box graham crackers, crushed
    1 (1 lb.) bag marshmallows
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
Preparation
    Wash sassafras roots.
    Cut into pieces.
    Place in a pan with cold water, enough to cover roots.
    Boil for 15 minutes.
    Strain and
    serve hot with lemon or sugar.
