Easy Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 pkg. dry yeast
2 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 egg
3 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Combine flour (whole wheat), sugar, salt and yeast in a large mixer bowl.
Heat milk and oil in saucepan over low heat until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
Add egg and warm liquid to flour mixture.
Beat 1/2 minute at low speed, then 3 minutes at medium speed.
By hand, gradually add 1 cup whole wheat flour and 3 to 4 cups of all-purpose flour to form soft dough.
Grease on all sides.
Cover dough and let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, 45 to 60 minutes.
Punch down dough. Shape into loaves.
Place in greased pans, cover and let rise in warm place until light, 30 to 45 minutes.
Bake loaves at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes until loaves sound hollow when lightly tapped.
Remove from pans immediately.
Cool on rack.
Brush top with butter.
