Yule Log Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. whole Brazil nuts (1 lb.)
1 1/2 c. whole walnut meats (1 lb.)
1/2 lb. pitted dates (whole)
2/3 c. chopped, candied, mixed fruit
1/2 c. whole red maraschino cherries, drained
1/2 c. seedless raisins
3/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Grease bottom and sides of loaf pan (16 x 5 x 5).
Line bottom of pan with waxed paper.
Grease paper.
