Simple Sauerkraut Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag sauerkraut
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    2 large onions, sliced thin
Preparation
    Empty sauerkraut (including juice) into 6 quart pot.
    Add tomatoes and onions.
    Bring to a boil, lower heat and cook slowly about 2 hours.
    Stir occasionally and sweeten to taste as it cooks.
