Beef And Pecan Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper (optional)
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute the pecans in butter 3 to 5 minutes; set aside.
    Using scissors, cut the dried beef into small pieces. Blend with the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a glass baking dish and top with sauteed pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve hot with crackers. Serves 10 to 12.
