White Overnight Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. canned white Queen Anne cherries, drained
    2 c. pineapple tidbits, drained
    2 c. mandarin oranges (canned), drained
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. whipping cream
    juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar and put in double boiler; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add lemon juice.
    Beat whipping cream and fold cooled, cooked mixture into the cream.
    Fold in fruit and put in refrigerator overnight and eat.
